Liverpool will be without Trent Alexander-Arnold until December.
The right-back was injured on Sunday in the 1-1 draw with Manchester City.
He received treatment on the field before being replaced by James Milner.
Alexander-Arnold is expected to miss the next games against Leicester, Atalanta and Brighton, he may also miss the challenges of the first days of December against Ajax, Wolves and Midtjylland.
He will also miss England’s next challenges against Ireland, Belgium and Iceland.
