Thiago Alcantara is following the fate of Eden Hazard at Real Madrid.
He has failed to stay fit for several games in a row with the Reds since his summer transfer from Bayern Munich.
Thiago was injured in the challenge against Everton, a match in which Virgil Van Dijk tore ligaments and almost lost the season.
Either way, Thiago had just received a very strong blow to the knee, but that has not broken anything and according to Jurgen Klopp is on the way back.
“At first everyone thought that because he had not broken anything, he could return in a few days. But the blow he received to the knee is still not okay. It’s not a big deal and he trains from time to time, but we think he still needs time,” said Klopp.
“I can not say exactly when it will be ready, but it will be at least a few weeks, that’s the situation.”
