Croatian footballer Mario Mandzukic today became official as Milan’s youngest footballer, after having a long time without a team.
Milan are top of Serie A after 18 games and Mandzukic has joined to help ease the load on offense, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic returning to the starting line-up for the first time since November.
The former Juventus striker has been given the number 9 jersey and is looking forward to wearing the iconic Milan jersey.
“I am grateful to the Milan leadership for the opportunity to join this great club. It will be a real honor to wear this iconic jersey and fight for the Rossoneri. I can only promise that I will give my best in every match and I will try to help the team in any way I can,” Mandzukic said in a Twitter post.
It remains to be seen what his impact will be at the San Siro as the Italian club goes through an extraordinary form.
