Lionel Messi has reacted harshly to comments made by Eric Olhats, former manager of Antoine Griezmann, that the Argentine is allegedly to blame for the Frenchman’s failure in Barcelona, saying that he feels tired of carrying on his shoulders any failure that occurs at the Camp Nou.
Messi’s reaction comes after Griezmann’s uncle Emmanuel Lopez and his former manager blamed the Argentine for the problems at the Camp Nou, saying he is the cause of them.
Messi and Barcelona have had a bad relationship last year, due to the failure of the club inside and outside the field. Barca finished the 2019/20 season without trophies and were embarrassed in the Champions League by losing 8: 2 to Bayern Munich.
Messi, who was returning to Barcelona from Argentina where he was on duty with the national team for the qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup, was asked at El Prat airport for Olhats’ comments.
“I am tired of being blamed for everything.” said Messi.
