Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo has praised Cristiano Ronaldo as a born champion who is an example to all, after the 2-0 victory that the Portuguese striker secured for his team with two goals against Cagliari.
Ronaldo scored twice within four minutes in the first half bringing to eight the total number of personal goals in six appearances in all competitions.
With this, Ronaldo became the first Juventus player to score in each of the first five Serie A games within a season in the three-point era of victory.
He scored two goals against Cagliari after five attempts and further created three opportunities for his teammates, which prompted coach Pirlo to praise him.
“He is a great professional, as we know. He is a true champion and an example for everyone around him in matches and training,” said Pirlo.
“The only advice I give him is to continue this way,” he added.
