Corriere di Roma reports that Massimiliano Allegri may be interested in taking over at Roma.

Paulo Fonseca’s future at Olimpico looks uncertain, according to numerous reports in Italy. And Allegri has been mentioned as a possible successor.

The report states that Giallorossi have increased their contacts with the former Juventus coach, who was mentioned as a possible option for the free position at Chelsea this week.

Thomas Tuchel looks set to replace Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge, while Allegri has not closed the door on a return to Serie A with Giallorossi.

Allegri won Serie A with Milan in the 2010/11 season and continued his success at Juventus, where he took five Scudetto and four Coppa Italia before retiring after the 2018-19 season.
