Budweiser has sent them a bottle of beer for every goal Leo Messi has scored in Barcelona and Gigi Buffon has congratulated the Argentine striker after receiving two of them.
Messi passed Pele for goals scored with the same club and Budweiser “celebrated” this achievement of the Argentine by sending a glass of beer for every goal he has scored.
Gigi Buffon had conceded two goals from the 33-year-old, the 514th and 515th goals.
Messi had scored twice in Barcelona’s 3-0 victory in the group stage of the Champions League, a match that took place on 19 September 2017.
“I take this as a compliment. We have had battles for several years. Congratulations on breaking the record with 644 goals Leo Messi. It’s really an incredible achievement. “Cheers,” Buffon wrote on Instagram.
The Italian goalkeeper who has conceded the most goals from Messi is the former Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati who has conceded eight goals from him during his career as a player.
