Manchester City has scored the third consecutive victory in the Premier League, defeating the team of Brighton & Hove Albion 1-0.
The first half passed with the dominance of Manchester City who, although they had several chances to score, failed to score a goal.
But, the goal would come in the 44th minute where Phil Foden penetrates well into the area and scores the goal after a light kick of the ball.
The second half was more balanced with City hitting the post from the first minutes.
But, after the 75th minute Brighton several times attacked the gate of City and several times was close to equalizing the score.
In the second extra minute Manchester City won a penalty but Raheem Sterling removed it by sending the ball out.
But by the end of the match there was no change in the result and City won with difficulty three points that elevate Guardiola’s team to third place with 32 points, four less than City and one less than Liverpool in second place.
