Diogo Jota has shown that Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp likes to be close to the players, both on and off the field.
The Portuguese striker has said that the German strategist differs from his previous coaches thanks to the effort to connect closely with the players he leads.
This form of approach has had a positive impact on Jota, who has scored six goals in 11 appearances with Liverpool.
“He is a coach different from the ones I have had before, especially in terms of contact. He sent me a message a few days ago, something that is not common among coaches.”
“I was in bed resting, I was not even waiting for a message and a message came to me from him. He likes to be close to the players, both on and off the field.” said the 23-year-old.
