Paulo Dybala’s future may be far from Juventus, as the president of the old lady, Andrea Agnelli, did not hesitate to criticize the form of the player in Serie A this season.
The Argentine scored his first goal of the season in Sunday’s win over Genoa and later commented that his agent had spent two months in Turin without hearing anything from the club about renewing his contract.
Agnelli, as expected, did not take kindly to the player’s comments and he responded by saying to the media: “We see Dybala as captain yesterday, today and tomorrow.” said Agnelli.
“He has received an offer that would make him one of the 20 highest paid footballers in Europe, and that is a great basis and we look forward to his response.”
“But we also want to see his proposal on the field. He wants to become one of the top five players in the world and we will support him, but he is not at that level today and he knows it.”
Dybala and his representatives have not welcomed those comments from Agnelli and it is said that he is now open to leave Allianz Stadium.
In the past, the player has been in contact with Manchester United and Tottenham, but this time he can really leave.
Dybala has a contract until 2022 and from next summer he can leave after entering the last year of the agreement.
