Former Red and Black team goalkeeper Christian Abiatti believes that Milan and Napoli can fight for the Scudetto.
Abbiati spoke before the match on Sunday night between these two teams.
The 43-year-old has won three Serie A titles, an Italian Cup and the Champions League, as part of the red and black club, and believes Milan and Napoli are title contenders this season.
The leaders of the table are three points ahead of Napoli after seven games played, they will travel to San Paolo for Sunday night’s meeting.
“I can say that both clubs can fight until the end for the first place”, declared Abbiati.
“It will be a good championship, with four or five contenders, along with these two.”
“But even if Milan win on Sunday, it is still too early to think about the Scudetto,” he concluded.
