Pep Guardiola remained outraged by the missed opportunities by his players in the Manchester City 1: 1 draw against West Brom on Tuesday.
City took the lead after half an hour of play in the Premier League match through Ilkay Gundogan at the Etihad.
But the visitors equalized just before the end of the first half, when Semi Ajayi’s shot ended in Ederson’s goal net.
Guardiola’s team completely dominated the second half and had 26 attempts on gate during the match, although only seven of them were within its frame, while West Brom had only one shot inside the City gate frame.
Guardiola was disappointed with the failure of his players to win this match and said that they do not have the luxury of conceding points at home in such matches.
“In the first half we did not create much, they put a lot of players in defense. “In the second half we did everything but we just didn’t manage to score,” Guardiola told Amazon.
“We created enough to win the game, 26 shots I think, we just had to put the ball in the net. We have to win games like this. We know this, we are dropping points. These are matches we have to win.” he added.
