Milan will not endanger Zlatan Ibrahimovic against Genoa tonight, but the Swede is reportedly ready to play this weekend against Sassuolo.

The Swede is expected to miss the fourth Serie A match and the seventh in total in all competitions due to a thigh injury he suffered in the 3-1 win over Napoli.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports today that Ibrahimovic has continued training separately from the group and this was advised to him yesterday by the medical staff.

But, the newspaper has written that his return to the field has been postponed until the weekend. Where Milan will travel to Reggio Emilia to face Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium.

Ibrahimovic has so far scored 10 goals in six Serie A games this season and Milan are in first place in Serie A even after the 12th week.
