Juventus has offered Paris Saint-Germain the opportunity to transfer Cristiano Ronaldo in exchange for Neymar.

Ronaldo and Neymar have agreements with their respective clubs only until the summer of 2022, so this makes the exchange between them possible.

Neither Ronaldo nor Neymar seem to be close to renewing deals with their clubs.

Even weeks ago there were rumors that Juventus is preparing to sell the Portuguese superstar, because keeping him at the club is costing them a lot financially.

The Portuguese superstar has an annual salary of 31 million euros, five times higher than the second highest paid player in the team, Paulo Dybala.

The leaders of the Italian champion think that it is not worth taking the risk to continue Ronaldo’s stay since he turns 36 year old in February.

They believe that Ronaldo can not justify the high salary even after 2021.

The huge financial crisis caused by the pandemic is said to have an impact on Juve’s decision, as well.
