Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has admitted that his side’s chances of winning the La Liga title this season have been significantly reduced, after losing points again in the 1: 1 draw with Eibar.
Barca’s poor form continued on Tuesday night, as they could not win more than one point against Eibar in the absence of captain Lionel Messi.
Barcelona are seven points behind leaders Atletico Madrid, who could increase their lead if they win the remaining two games.
“I am realistic, it is difficult to win the title. Nothing is impossible, but we have to accept the difference (in points),” Koeman said.
“Atletico is a very good team. They are strong and do not concede many goals.”
