Robert Lewandowski shows a very interesting background about his career.

The Bayern Munich striker, who is leading the German team to numerous successes and who is expected to win the FIFA World Player of the Year award many years ago, before moving to Borussia Dortmund, could have moved to Serie A to become part of Genoa.

“Many footballers from Poland play in Italy. When I was younger and active with Lech Poznan, I could choose between several teams to continue my career, including the Italian ones. I was very close to transferring to Genoa.” he said.

“I visited the club’s stadium and training center, but I wanted a team that played in the Champions League and I chose Dortmund. I think I made a good decision considering where I am now.”
