Manchester United defeated today at “Old Trafford” the team of West Brom with a close result 1-0.
The only goal in this match was scored from the penalty spot in the second half.
The first half ended goalless, 0-0, with Manchester United dominating but not scoring.
Even in the second half Manchester United were still better and managed to score in the 56th minute of the match.
Initially goalkeeper Sam Johnstone conceded Bruno Fernandes’s penalty but the referee decided to repeat it and in the second attempt, the Portuguese proved successful.
This victory raises United to 9th place with 13 points while West Brom continues to be in last place without any wins this year.
