Mesut Ozil has reached a three-year deal with Fenerbahce, according to Turkish media, which could end his career at Arsenal no further than this transfer window.
Coach Mikel Arteta has left Ozil out of the Arsenal squad for all competitions in the first half of the 2020/21 season, which has made it very possible for him to leave the Emirates.
Turkish broadcaster NTVSpo reported this morning that the former Germany international has struck a deal with the Turkish Super League club, just 24 hours after it was reported that MLS club DC United had made an offer to Ozil.
Ozil is expected to join Fener immediately in a deal until the summer of 2024.
Ozil joined Arsenal in 2013 and was one of the most influential players during a period when the club won three trophies in the FA Cup.
But he has been kicked out of the team since last season.
