Italian Juventus striker Alvaro Morata has spoken about his career, saying that Atletico Madrid will always be the team he will admire, but he would like to be a Getafe player.
Alvaro Morata wants to end his career with the Spanish team Getafe.
The Spaniard returned to the old lady this summer and is now moving into excellent form with the whites.
With six goals scored in eight games, Morata is enjoying the start of the season with the Italian giants.
But, the striker shows that Atletico Madrid will always be in his heart and praises coach Diego Simeone.
“You have always had a team since childhood, and I am and will always be for Atletico,” said Morata.
“I had a very good relationship with Diego Simeone and I wish him all the best.”
“I do not know if I will wear the Atletico jersey again. “Now I am very well and calm, but you never know”, continued the Spaniard.
“I hope Ateltico win La Liga. But they have to fight for it in every game, and they are playing very well at the beginning.”
Morata joined the Atletico academy from Getafe in 2007, then had experience with Real Madrid and Chelsea.
“I want my last T-shirt to be that of Getafe, I have very good relations with the President and the people there. I think I have to thank them for the player I am today.”
