Former Juventus midfielder and current Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic insists he can only say good words for Cristiano Ronaldo, but underlines that Lionel Messi is extraterrestrial.
Pjanic joined Barcelona from Juventus last summer in a swap deal with Arthur Melo.
Speaking before today’s match between Barcelona and Juventus in the Champions League, Pjanic also discussed the long-awaited duel between Messi and Ronaldo.
“I have only good words for Ronaldo, as a person and above all as an athlete.” said Pjanic.
“He is very prepared and attentive to every detail.” he added.
Regarding Messi, the Bosnian midfielder stated: “Messi is extraterrestrial. “Every time I played against him, it was difficult, almost impossible to stop him and now that I play alongside him, I understand that he is a phenomenon.”
“Every time he has the ball, something happens. Be it a goal or an assist. He is a genius.” he added.
