The arrival of Andrea Pirlo on the bench of Juventus has convinced Cristiano Ronaldo to feel safe at the Allianz Stadium and stay at least until June 2022, according to Italian media.
Pirlo is said to have left a good impression on Ronaldo since his first day as Juve coach, so the Portuguese superstar is determined to stay and help the former midfielder win in his first year as coach.
And Pirlo is ready to allow the 35-year-old to achieve his personal goals, convincing the veteran striker to honor his contract, which expires in June 2022.
Ronaldo has started the season in phenomenal form, scoring eight goals in five Serie A games.
“Ronaldo is a great professional, as we all know, he is an example for everyone in training and on the field. The only advice I give him is to continue like this”, said Pirlo after Juve’s victory against Cagliari, thanks to the two goals of the Portuguese.
Tuttosport reports that Ronaldo does not intend to leave Juventus a year before his contract expires as recently reported and that he has established a relationship with him, similar to the one he had with Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid.
