Cristiano Ronaldo “is different from all the other players” according to former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri – who says the Portuguese has a more winning mentality than any player he has worked with.
“I worked with a very strong player, especially mentally.” he told The Times. “Defenders like Chiellini and Nesta, midfielders like Gattuso and Seedorf and strikers like Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo.”
“Ronaldo is the top player in terms of mentality. Ronaldo has a different head from the others. He has won five Golden Balls, five Champions Leagues and a European Cup with Portugal, so it is very difficult and he is always the one who makes the difference. Every year there is a new objective.”
