The best goal scorer of all time can no longer be discussed, but Cristiano Ronaldo is rapidly climbing to the top of the list of Juventus’ best goal scorers.
CR7 has found the net so far 760 times in his career during last night’s 2-0 victory in the Italian Super Cup final against Napoli.
This includes all goals in official matches as a professional, both for the club and the national team.
Some sources quote that this record has been contested by the Czech Football Federation who say that Josef Bican has scored 821 goals, ie much more than 759.
Pele also said that he has scored 1283 goals, but in this he has also introduced goals in friendlies and at the youth level.
Even if this record remains part of the debate, Ronaldo on the other hand is writing history with Juventus.
He has scored 85 goals in 109 official matches for the Old Lady, placing himself among the club’s 16 top scorers, slightly below 89-year-old Pippo Inzaghi.
In such a short time, the Portuguese veteran is already close to entering the top-10, which is currently held by Federico Munerati in 249 games.
Ronaldo turns 36 next month, so he is unlikely to be replaced by Alessandro Del Pieron who has scored 290 goals in 705 appearances for the club.
He is 110 goals ahead of second place, Roberto Battega.
