Quique Setien has insisted that he would be ready to return to Barcelona, after an experience, as he called it, extraordinary, at the head of the Catalan giant.
Setien was appointed Barca coach in January and sacked after the end of the terrible 2019/20 season, which the club ended without winning any trophies and after being embarrassed 8: 2 by Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
The 62-year-old, who sued the club, spoke of his brief experience at Camp Nou and insisted he would return to Camp Nou in the future.
“The experience was extraordinary. It is true that we did not enjoy what we wanted to enjoy,” Setien told MARCA.
“Of course I would return to Barcelona and I would never regret leaving, not at all.” he added.
Setien has been unemployed since being fired from Barcelona in August.
