Although he is doing well in La Liga and leading the standings with even two games less developed, Diego Simeone’s confidants were surprised by a modest opponent like Cornella.
Thus, Cornella has somehow disturbed the peace of “Los Colchoneros” after Simeone has warned that it could be his end on the bench at Atletico.
“In football things change very quickly and we have to be open to all possibilities, to everything that the club can decide.” said Simeone.
“I feel very good here at Atletico, but everything is open based on the club’s decision.”
