Chelsea beat Leeds United 3-1 to take the lead in the Premier League at least until tomorrow when Tottenham and Liverpool play. Leeds were the first to take the lead in this match but Chelsea managed to reverse the result and finally take three points at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have delighted their fans, who returned to Stamford Bridge after eight months winning 3-1 against Leeds United.

Leeds started this match very well where they scored in the 4th minute through the talented striker, Patrick Bamford.

However after the goal, Chelsea woke up immediately but Timo Werner missed an ideal chance to score in the 9th minute, where from a distance of 1 meter he hit the post.

However, the equalizer would not be delayed and it would be scored by Giroud in the 27th minute.

This is the Frenchman’s fifth goal scored in a week, after scoring 4 goals against Sevilla in the Champions League.

In the second half again it was Chelsea who continued with the attacks and the lead goal was scored in the 61st minute.

It was defender Kurt Zouma who scored the header after a break.

Chelsea would score the third goal in the third extra minute of the match and it was scored by Christian Pulisic.

This goal turned out to be the winning goal for Chelsea, which now, after 11 rounds, climbs to the first place of the English Premier League with 22 points, one more than Tottenham and Liverpool, which are in the second and third place, respectively.

Tottenham and Liverpool have the opportunity to lead again after tomorrow Tottenham hosts Arsenal at home and Liverpool hosts Wolves at home.
