Xavi Hernandez, the Barcelona legend, believes his former club has done very well with the acquisition of Frenkie de Jong.
He believes that De Jong will leave a mark with the Barca jersey.
“I was very happy when Barcelona bought Frenkie de Jong. I wished him luck on Instagram, he replied: ‘Thank you, it is an honor’. “He considered him a player who could write an era with Barcelona,” said Xavi.
“He is an extraordinary player, he is not afraid to look for the ball in very difficult areas, he is a really good player.”
The 23-year-old is playing his second season with Barcelona.
He already counts 52 appearances in all competitions, has scored 2 goals.
